Havens Hospices Thanks

June 30th 2020 Havens Hospices sent a warm thank you to Councillor Julie Gooding and the #Rochfordppeproject for creating these bags for Fair Havens helping to reduce  their of plastic bags.


Rayleigh overhead power lines decommissioning.

Balfour Beatty on behalf of National Grid will be undertaking essential electricity works in Wheatley Ward from 22nd June until the Autumn, They will be removing two overhead power lines between two substations which will not affect the local electricity supply.

A Great Cleanup

A good lunch time clean up event organised by Cllr Julie Gooding Hawkwell West supported by Cllrs Mr and Mrs Shaw, James Gooding, Cllr Williams and a valuable team of volunteers over at the old Stambridge Mills on the River Roach.

It was brought to our attention how terrible Stambridge Mills had become littered. James Gooding and myself set off to investigate- with a litter pick today. Over 700 cans later we had filled 11 bags of rubbish left by groups who congregate in this area.
